A great neighborhood find

Just before Valentine's Day, I was looking for a nice little neighborhood spot to take the fiance. You know...great food, energetic but friendly, good service and reasonably priced.

I happened on the Open Table website, which is like Groupon or Yelp, but mostly dedicated to restaurants. I found a special at a spot called the BluWater Bistro, on the north end of Green Lake, around the corner from Duke's. Never been there, so I thought we'd give it a shot.

What an experience! VERY good service, with no less than four servers making sure that we were happy and excellent food in a very timely and well-plated manner. Check this: a 6 oz, filet mignon, small lobster tail, vegetables and desert, WITH a glass of domestic champagne....for under $30 per person! Admittedly, it was a V Day special, but that is still a great price for what turned out to be a very enjoyable evening.

We'll go back for sure!

Thanks for the review and recommendation. I will definitely check them out the next time I'm in the Green Lake area.
